How Does VisiFlora Work?
VisiFlora works across a disclosed nutrient layer and a hidden-dose carotenoid and botanical blend.
Given the undisclosed blend dosing, expect gentle, gradual support rather than research-level effects.
Two layers, one important gap
VisiFlora's formula is built in two distinct layers: a fully transparent core of 7 disclosed nutrients, and a much larger, dose-hidden blend of 14 carotenoids and botanicals.
1. The disclosed nutrient layer
Vitamin A (450mcg RAE), Vitamin C (90mg), Vitamin E (15mg), Zinc (11mg), Selenium (20mcg), Copper (0.9mg) and Chromium (15mcg) are each listed with an exact amount — though several sit below AREDS2-style amounts. See our full piece on VisiFlora vs AREDS2, explained.
2. The carotenoid layer
Lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin are named for their established role in macular health, but their individual amounts are hidden inside the 351mg blend. See our full piece on lutein, zeaxanthin and the undisclosed doses.
3. The botanical antioxidant layer
Bilberry, saffron, ginkgo, grape seed, eyebright, rutin and quercetin round out the blend for general antioxidant and circulation-adjacent support.
4. The gut-eye positioning
The formula is marketed around the gut-eye axis, a genuine research area, though the label lists no probiotic organism, CFU count or named prebiotic — understand this as marketing positioning rather than a probiotic claim.
What this realistically means
Support is the operative word throughout. VisiFlora supplies nutritional inputs relevant to eye nutrition and antioxidant activity; it does not override diagnosed eye conditions, and given the hidden blend dosing, expecting research-level strength from any single ingredient isn't realistic. See the full ingredient list and what it is designed to support.
